I Love this book because it helps me UNDERSTAND what’s going on. I also love the responsible and attuned attitude it takes toward nature’s gifts. Although there are recipes, it’s not the most important thing to me, because it gives me enough understanding to make my own recipes. The plants that grow in my area are different from those in James Green’s area, but I can take the understandings gained and apply them in my own local flora. I recommend this book to my students who are interested in making their own medicines.
